Medical device import and distribution

A CRM and operations system for a distributor

The problem

A business where all the expensive things happen after the sale closes. Stock going out on approval and coming partly back, batches reaching their expiry date on the shelf, orders lost to stock that turned out not to be there, and credit extended to accounts that had not paid for the last delivery.

What we built

A CRM and operations system for regulated stock. Pipeline and account ownership, order entry against what is genuinely available, goods on approval, consignment stock, barcode receiving and picking, full batch traceability, and the finance underneath it. Invoicing, VAT, bank reconciliation, chasing and audit.

How it works

Issued invoices cannot be edited. Corrections go through a credit note tied to the original. Invoices are filed automatically with the tax authority. Modules are switched on per country and per customer.

What changed

The gap between the sales floor and the warehouse stopped being where the margin went.
